FAQ

Questions gig-goers ask

What is Radar?
Radar is a gig diary and concert finder for iOS and Android. Log every show you attend worldwide, search upcoming gigs across major ticket platforms, message friends, see who's going to the same show, share your profile, and unlock Wrapped stats with Radar Pro.
Is Radar a gig guide app?
Yes. Radar combines a personal gig guide with a diary: Find searches Ticketmaster, Skiddle, Eventbrite, and Setlist.fm so you can discover upcoming shows and log them in one tap — past and upcoming gigs in one timeline.
Is Radar a festival tracker app?
Yes. Log multi-day festivals as diary entries, browse lineups, and use Radar Pro Clashfinder to plan your timetable without stage clashes. Festival counts appear on your profile stats.
Is Radar free?
Yes. You can log up to ten gigs for free and message friends with direct messages. Radar Pro unlocks unlimited gigs, crew and event group chats, the venue map, festival Clashfinder, photo galleries, reminders, and Concert Wrapped.
Where does Radar find concerts?
Find searches Ticketmaster, Skiddle, Eventbrite, and Setlist.fm so you can add shows to your diary without retyping details.
Does Radar work worldwide?
Yes. Radar works worldwide — log gigs in the UK, US, and beyond, and use Find to search Ticketmaster, Skiddle, Eventbrite, and Setlist.fm across supported regions. City guides cover London, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Austin, and more. The app is on the App Store today; Android is coming soon.
What is Concert Wrapped?
Wrapped is your year in live music: top artists, venues, cities, and gig count—similar to Spotify Wrapped, built from gigs you log in Radar.
Can I share my gig history?
Yes. Share your profile link, save gig cards to Photos, or share Wrapped slides straight to Instagram Stories. Every past gig has a share card with the artist image, your rating, and highlight song.
What is taste match?
Taste match shows a music compatibility percentage on your friends' profiles, based on the artists you've both seen live. Tap it to browse the artists you share.
What are Radar levels and achievements?
Log gigs, add friends, and explore the app to unlock 100+ achievements — many with Bronze through Legendary+ tiers. Every gig earns XP; new artists, venues, and festivals count for more than repeats. Achievements give the biggest boosts. Your level rises with total XP and shows on your profile.
How do friend referrals work?
Share your invite link from Settings. When a friend signs up with your code, you both get 5 days of Radar Pro. Refer more friends and your Pro days stack.
Does Radar have messaging?
Yes. Direct messages with friends are free. Radar Pro adds crew chats for gigs you tag mates on and public event chats for shows you've logged — past or upcoming — with push notifications, read receipts, @mentions, emoji reactions, mute, and unsend.
Does Radar support festivals?
Radar Pro includes Clashfinder so you can plan sets across stages and avoid timetable clashes at festivals.
How do I delete my account?
Open Settings in the app and choose Delete account, or email privacy@joinradar.co.uk for help.
