August eats the calendar, but Edinburgh still has a normal gig year: Usher Hall, Queen’s Hall, Liquid Rooms, Picture House. Log those or your diary will look like you only exist in August.

Write the room name down
Fringe venues blur together. The diary field for venue is how you remember Summerhall versus a hotel ballroom.
Add photos the same night. Edinburgh lighting is pretty and useless as a search term.
Hop to Glasgow without mixing the stats
Plenty of bills are a bus apart. Log the city that matches the room. Your map should show two cities, not one blob called Scotland.
