Search your diary, not your camera roll
Before you buy, search the artist in your logged gigs. If a date appears, open it: venue, year, and who you went with. That answers “have I seen them” faster than scrolling Photos.
Radar’s diary is that search. Find is for upcoming listings. Use both: history first, then the new date.
Same city does not mean the same show
A band can play your city every album cycle. Seeing them in 2018 does not mean you should skip 2026, but you should know you are choosing a repeat. Notes from the last time help.
If the old gig is missing, backfill it before you decide. People skip returns because they forgot the first night was average, or buy again because they forgot it was excellent.
Support bills and festival sets count differently
A 30-minute festival slot is not the same as a headline tour. Your diary can hold both. Read the old entry before you treat the new ticket as a first time.
If you only saw them supporting someone else, say that in the notes. Your future self will buy the headline show on purpose.
