Each night is its own gig
Seeing a band in 2016 and again in 2026 is two concerts. Same artist, different venue or date, different card. Merging them hides which night had the better set.
Radar files both under that artist and keeps the venues apart. Your “most seen” artists come from that list, not from a single favourite you typed in.
What changes between visits
Write the difference in the notes: new album, worse room, better crowd, a friend who missed the first one. The setlist can differ too. Attach the list for that date.
Ratings can disagree. A 5 in a club and a 3 in an arena are both allowed. The artist is not the thing you are scoring. The night is.
Do not log the tour, log your seats
If you went to one date, you have one gig. The other cities on the poster are not yours. Repeat attendance means you were in the room again.
Search the artist when you think you have forgotten a middle date. Tours that played your city twice are easy to miss.
