A Sheffield gig guide that only lists arena dates misses the point of the city. The Leadmill, Network, the Foundry, and Sidney & Matilda carry as much of a fan’s year as the Octagon or City Hall. Log the room you stood in, not a generic “Sheffield” line.

Artist, venue, date, and one sentence. Support acts belong on the bill if you stayed for them. A rating is optional and more honest a day later than in the queue.
