The Toon has a proper circuit
Newcastle gig-going splits between the arena, the Academy circuit, and rooms like the Boiler Shop and Cluny. A useful guide names the venue. Your diary should do the same, or next year you will not know which night was which.
Radar Find is the search. Type the artist, check the Newcastle date, and save it. After the gig, add rating, notes, and the people who took the Metro with you.
Log the north-east as separate cities
Sunderland, Gateshead, and Newcastle are not one venue. If the show was at the Glasshouse or in Sunderland, write that city. Maps and year stats only work when the place is right.
Past tours are searchable. If you saw the band on a previous Newcastle date, log that night too. Repeat visits are the interesting stat, not a single highlight.
What a Newcastle entry needs
Artist, venue, date, and whether you stayed for support. That is enough. A paragraph of adjectives is optional. The setlist can come from the public archive and sit on your gig.
